Quassel Client - How to Install This Free Software on a Raspberry Pi
After downloading and installing the Quassel Client, you can begin interacting with it. This client is available for both Windows and Linux. The Quassel icon is the same in both versions. You can use either version as long as it is compatible with your system. However, if you plan to run the client on Windows, you'll need to download and install the new version. This article will cover the installation process for both platforms.
Installing the Quassel client is fairly simple. Run the installation wizard, and it will automatically connect to the server. The Raspberry Pi can be configured with a static IP address or its URL, but it's best to use a PC to access it. Once you've installed the Quassel Client, you can log into the server using an administrator account. This account is not for day-to-day IRC usage, so don't use it!
Update your Quassel Client to version 0.13.0. This version fixes several bugs and improves the overall quality of the client. In addition, it fixes a bug with PostgresQL database that caused multiple clients to lose messages in earlier 0.12.x versions. For this reason, it's highly recommended that you upgrade to the latest version of Quassel. It also includes over 100 commits of bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements.
